Pro Equipment Deep Dive · 2026 Season
The precision machine behind the most clinical baseline game on the ATP Tour.
Sinner plays under the paint of the Head Speed MP 2026, but underneath lies a pro-stock HEAD TGT 301.4 — a precision instrument fine-tuned for flat, penetrating, surgical baseline tennis. For 2026 the frame gets the new Hy-Bor and Auxetic 2.0 technologies.
Pro Frame Specs
Sinner's frame is a pro-stock HEAD TGT 301.4 — a customised version built on the Speed MP base. Unlike many pros who drift far from retail, the core geometry is recognisable, but the weight, balance, and swingweight have been dialled to suit his powerful, flat-striking game.

In His Own Words
"The Speed is a very easy racquet to play with because it has all the elements a player needs. It has speed, it has stability." — Jannik Sinner, on his HEAD setup
The HEAD Speed MP 2026's Hy-Bor material — borrowed from aerospace engineering — stiffens the shaft at impact for a uniquely stable, planted feel through the ball. Auxetic 2.0 in the yoke and handle enhances the feedback and string-bed responsiveness that Sinner's flat, penetrating ball-striking demands.
Pro Customizations
These are the deliberate modifications Sinner's team applied to the TGT 301.4 — each targeting a specific performance goal tied to his aggressive, flat-hitting baseline game.
Additional weight added at the hoop raises overall swingweight significantly above the retail baseline. This gives Sinner's flat groundstrokes more "plough-through" — the ball sits heavy on the opponent's racket — while his exceptional timing compensates for the added mass.
HEAD Hawk Touch 16g strung at 61 lbs — significantly tighter than most pros. This ultra-controlled setup suits Sinner's big, flat swing: lower launch angle, predictable ball flight and maximum precision under pressure. No vibration dampener is used — raw feedback is preferred.
Under the HEAD Speed MP 2026 paint, Sinner wields the TGT 301.4 — a pro-stock layup not available to the public. The geometry mirrors the retail frame but the carbon fibre construction, flex profile, and internal structure are unique — finely matched to his swing at the factory level.
Watch
The new HEAD Speed 2026 brings Hy-Bor technology from the aerospace industry into your hands. Engineered for players who demand precise power and a connected, solid feel — the Speed is for those who swing fast and stay in control.

USD · Unstrung · Retail price varies by region & retailer
The retail HEAD Speed MP 2026 is the closest thing available to what Sinner endorses. While the actual frame underneath is the pro-stock TGT 301.4 (not available to the public), the Speed MP shares the same geometry, string pattern and now incorporates the Hy-Bor and Auxetic 2.0 technologies Sinner uses at Grand Slam level.
The main differences: the retail version won't have Sinner's custom layup, his precisely sorted weight, or his 61 lb stringing. But the frame feels remarkably close to his endorsed setup — one of the better "copy the pro" options on tour.
